Men Teams USA, Finland, Mexico and Canada in Medal Rounds

Medal rounds in team event will be played for the first time in Baker's format best of three. Beeing top seed USA takes on 4th place Canada while Finland and Mexico meet in the other match.

Having the best score in 2nd block of team event Finland moved up 5 spots into 2nd place overall standings. Jari Aikioniemi, Sami Luoto, Ari Halme, Teemu Raatikainen finished 4803 total pinfall. Team USA took off with 859 and managed 753 and 800 in the next two games. Lennie Boresch, Ron Mohr, Bob Learn Jr, Parker Bohn III reached semi finals as top seed - 4845. Mexico dropped back to 3rd position for finishing second block only as No 9. Daniel Falconi, Jesus Gutierrez, Carlos Denot, Mario Garcia scored 4776 and already have a medal. Canada - Fred Phillips, Conn Casey, Richard Lafleur, Joe Ciach - maintained last sport for the semis, 4769.

Sweden remained in 5th position while Belgium fell bakc from 3rd to 6th.

 

Semi finals and the final will be played in Baker's format best of three. USA vs Canada / Finland vs. Mexico.

 

All-Events is finished by completeing the team event. Ron Mohr (3907) took the title ahead of Belgium's Marc Franceus 3859 and Bronze goes to Andrew Frawley from Australia, 3830. Top 8 players, who are getting a bye for first step in masters event: 4. Bob Learn Jr. 3821, 5. Parker Bohn III 3800, 6. Marco Reviglio 3752, 7. Daniel Falconi 3726, 8. Ron van den Bogaard 3725.
