The Decision Has Been Made, National Coach Peter Lorenz Presents Team Germany
The decision was not easy at all for Peter Lorenz, National Coach of DBU. Twelve players were in the run to qualify for the participation at World Men Championships 2010.
Intensely observations, player analyses and several qualification steps had been done to be able to present the German National Team today.
Achim Grabowski, Jens Nickel and Marco Baade, all of them well-experienced concerning World Championships, will be joined by Bodo Konieczny and Michael Holzapfel. Freshman Pascal Winterheimer will make his debute at Unterföhring. Kai Günther - Silvermedalist in WMC 2008 - is acting as replacement and he is conscientiously preparing to be ready when he is needed.
A tough german team will line up in August at Munich-Unterföhring trying to reach their ambitious aims. Good luck to all of you.
